About Us
BELIEVE. BELONG. BECOME.
Welcome to Forest Elementary, where the light coming into our beautiful building shines on a joyful community of learning and connection.
A WARM HELLO
Building strong relationships is at the core of what we do at Forest Elementary School. All of our students are known by name, and understood as the uniquely wonderful individuals they are. Our school community is important to us, including our families and partners from around the neighborhood. Students enjoy making cards for the residents of Saint Therese Home, for example, and we often welcome volunteers from St. James Lutheran Church.
Students at Forest Elementary enjoy:
- Reading – and all the adventures it makes possible
- Flexible classrooms and blended learning, which result in more teacher time with
- smaller groups of kids
- The Gaga ball pit in our playground!
From pre-kindergarten to KinderCamp, from our expansive art rooms to our Scooter City event in the gym, Forest offers multiple ways for students to connect all the things they’re learning. They know that if they need a little extra help to master a concept or skill, our exceptional staff will make sure they’re supported.
Likewise, students ready for bigger challenges will find them here.
YOUR K-12 PATHWAY
After fifth grade, Forest students attend Robbinsdale Middle School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. IB prepares students to navigate in the global community and to value and understand multiple perspectives.
