Welcome to Forest Elementary
members hold the belief that every child can succeed. With high
expectations for learning and behavior, every child is nurtured and
encouraged to reach his or her potential in an environment that is safe

Students are placed into reading and math groups based upon the
instructional readiness of the child. All children receive small group
instruction within the classroom, and the groups are flexible; as the
students progress, groups are reformed, and students continue to move

Elders’ wisdom, children’s song
Wisdom, Children’s Song is a program of community celebration of place
in partnership with the West Metro Education Program (WMEP), bringing
together children and elders, to honor commonalities and differences.
We thank our community connections for their involvement, including the
City of Crystal, Honeywell, Target, St. James, Kid Packs and the LEAP
Program through the Bush Foundation.
